Michelle was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and knew a career with animals was for her. She started by earning a degree in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University, but soon realized her passion was working hands-on with companion animals, which led her to pursue her Veterinary Technician Diploma at Dalhousie University’s Agricultural Campus in Truro, graduating in 2019.
Her favourite things about being an RVT are the variety of skills she gets to use every day and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
Outside of work, you can usually find her enjoying the ocean, golfing or skiing with her family or doing any activity that gets her moving and being outside! Her newest past time is lacing up the running sneakers are getting out on a run, where she always keeps her eyes open for Goldens!
She is excited to be a part of the team and bring love and joy to every one of her patients but especially the Golden Retrievers.
